I've rapidly grown more and more tired of Microsoft Windows. I have to use it for work, that is what is it. I had been using Manjaro personally, but wanted to test a new app that was only available on Windows, so I reloaded my personal laptop with Windows again. It lasted a couple of months before I've reached the point to go back. I installed [EndeaverOS](https://endeavouros.com/) tonight after testing it with the live USB this morning. This forced me to double check and think about the way that I use my computer. I had been using Kodi to connect to various IPTV services, but it's always been sluggish. I wound up using MPV and just creating an M3U8 playlist to ingest of the different channels I want to watch. I'm also just using VLC for my internet radio consumption and honestly, it's so much faster. It's just day one, but I suspect that I'll keep it running for quite a lot longer than I dealt with Windows. --- Tags: #technology
