# Theology Is Complicated But it doesn't have to be! I've spent years challenging my own beliefs and my faith going so far as to get a couple of degrees and graduate level certification in Biblical Greek. It wasn't until the last year or so that I began to realize how uncomplicated theology can be. My goal here with this site is to Unravel Theology in such a way that connections are recognizable and the path to salvation is clearly present. I love Jesus. He is King, and I love learning about His kingdom. My degrees are in biblical studies and apologetics. It is truly just something I enjoy to read and write about. I hope that you can explore this site and find answers to questions you've had or find questions you haven't thought to ask yourself. We're just getting started, but I hope to build out a fun collection for us all to learn from. ## Why now? We all have a path that we're on, and this is my place to share my journeys. [[About Me|I'm Bryan]], and I struggled for a long time with starting a blog or website, even tried a few podcasts, but they never fit. One problem I realized was that I either drilled the niche down too far and began to feel inadequate. I had built up this idea in my head that I wasn't really qualified (which I'm certainly not) to write on some of these topics. So, I started to open it up to write about just anything I wanted. However, once I made it so I could write whatever, I found myself not making progress on any one thing because there were too many options. We're going through that with my kids and TV choice right now, so it should have been more obvious than it was. Either way, I know that I want to make a change. Many of us have the drive to teach, lead, encourage, or just be in community with others. I'm here to tell you, it's hard. The world around us is constantly vying for our attention and once that attention is stolen it's far more difficult to return it to where it belongs. This is my attempt to satiate my desire for learning, while also focusing my attention on single things at a time. ## Learning in Public What does that mean? I am not afraid to say that I struggle with too many ideas in my head in a single day. I can bounce between just about any topic at the flip of a coin. This site consists of all of my random notes that I take about whatever topic I'm into "right now." They're all in my supporting notes folder. Be warned, there is going to be data that isn't fully fleshed out, there will likely be pages that contain wrong data, and some topics may get a lot of attention today and then never picked up again like a child's toy put down for the last time. ## Is is worth it? When reviewing a recent [Hacker News newsletter](https://hackernewsletter.com/) and several of the links were related to blogging, in some form or another. One of them linked to a forum post questioning whether blogging was still worth it. This led me to learning about [POSSE from IndieWeb](https://indieweb.org/POSSE) which is a concept I feel like I intrinsically knew, but seeing it written out helped me to solidify the ideas in my mind. This really gave me a strong reminder that I *want* to accomplish this. The goal isn't necessarily to build a following, a brand, or even make a bunch of money. It's to put something out there that one person may find useful some day. I started strong, but life gets in the way more often than it clears the path. To me this site is worth it, but I need to find a methodology that makes it consistent. # Join in the fun Send me your questions to add to the list at [[email protected].](mailto:[email protected].) I'll add them and when I get the answer fleshed out and written I'll email you the response as it gets posted. Maybe this will grow to a point that I move the site away from Obsidian Publish and can build forms and all that to go with it.
